Gisele Sweater
OVERVIEW: The Gisele Sweater is a timeless and versatile piece, designed with a relaxed and comfortable fit. Knitted with three strands of Pearl Mohair, it creates a wonderfully fluffy and soft texture that feels luxuriously comfortable against the skin. This classic sweater adds an effortlessly elegant touch to any wardrobe and is perfect for layering or wearing on its own as a warm and cozy knit.
The sweater is worked from the top down without seams. It begins by shaping the back with short rows to create the shoulders. After this, stitches are picked up from the back shoulder edges and shaped toward the neckline. The left and right front shoulders are joined at the neckline, and the front is then worked downward to the underarms.
At this point, the front and back are joined seamlessly and worked in the round. The waist is shaped before transitioning to the ribbing to ensure a good fit. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round, with gradual decreases toward the cuffs.
Finally, the neckband is worked in ribbing and folded double for a polished finish.
