Double Sunday is the thickest option in Sandnes Garn's 100% merino wool range and is the perfect basic yarn: thick, non-superwashed and can be knitted in either single or double yarn. It also works well with Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair.

Merino wool is not only insulating, it also wicks moisture away from the body and retains heat even when wet, thanks to the structure of the fibers. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water before it starts to feel wet.
